The solution was to create a striking image that would both draw the viewer in as well as unsettle them with Halloween-like spookiness. Drawing from my affinity for Medieval illuminated manuscripts, I hand wrote all blackletter typography used across the flyer.

In addition, I created social media imagery using the same artwork and adapted it to both Instagram and Facebook, outlets frequently used by Dark Matter Coffee.
